THE SITUATION

As a power generation company, VPI needed an advanced analytics solution to improve asset management and operational efficiency across its fleet. Traditional data analysis processes relied heavily on spreadsheets, which were time-consuming and limited in scope, posing challenges for engineers in performing complex analysis and quickly responding to operational changes. VPI sought a more efficient, self-service solution that would streamline analytics and equip engineers to conduct both routine and ad-hoc analysis with ease.

THE SOLUTION

IT Vizion implemented Seeq’s enterprise analytics platform following a successful proof-of-value test drive. During this test phase, VPI’s engineers and subject matter experts were able to simplify and enhance their data analysis workflows using Seeq’s intuitive, no-code/low-code tools. IT Vizion customized the Seeq platform for VPI’s operations, enabling engineers to perform new types of analysis, such as anomaly detection, emissions tracking, and performance optimization. The solution allowed for fast and flexible analytics, reducing the burden of manual spreadsheet analysis and equipping engineers with the tools to make data-driven decisions in real-time.
