The Situation

Access Electric was a new small business and had their network set up by another I.T. firm. The newly installed network never functioned properly and caused them problem after problem. Since they didn’t have an in-house I.T. employee or department, they were looking to outsource to a company that would be able to fix their network and handle on-going support and maintenance. When Tabitha Spatacean, Vice President of Access Electric, began looking for a new I.T. firm to handle the network, she went with IT Vizion because “Alex Ivascu and IT Vizion came highly recommended. The Solution

According to Tabitha Spatacean, “IT Vizion came in and made our non-functioning network run smoothly. They provided us with a stable working environment. They also set up all of our backup and disaster recovery. In the past, we didn’t have it set up correctly and had lost information. Now I have peace of mind knowing that IT Vizion has taken care of everything and in the event of a system fail, we can be back up and running in no time.”

Since fixing the network, IT Vizion has been providing on-going support, maintenance and updates to Access Electric through their Managed Services solution. “We basically became their I.T. department,” said Alex Ivascu, president of IT Vizion. “Here at IT Vizion we can either work with an existing I.T. department to supplement and support their efforts, or, as we did with Access Electric, we can actually become their virtual I.T. department.”

This solution has been working out great according to Tabitha. “You don’t really want to think about your IT, you just want it to work. With IT Vizion, I never worry about our systems. I focus on my job as Vice President. Our company, like most others, relies heavily on technology. If it isn’t working, neither are we. We are more productive because we don’t experience downtime.”

Tabitha said, “When we do have an IT glitch, it is great to know that IT Vizion is only a phone call or email away. They have remote capabilities – so we don’t have to wait for them to come into the office. I just email them and they are right here on my computer fixing whatever needs to be done. I feel like they are right here with me at all times.”
